As the war between Ukraine and Russia continues to escalate, a video has emerged that allegedly shows Ukrainian forces shooting down several Russian military planes with anti-aircraft missiles.

The video, which was released by the 208th Anti Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, appears to show a series of explosions in the sky, followed by falling debris and smoke trails. The video also includes audio of radio communications between the Ukrainian soldiers, who celebrate their success and report the number and type of the planes they have hit.

According to the video, the Ukrainian unit claims to have shot down six Russian planes, including two Su-24M bombers, two Su-25 ground attack aircraft, and two Mi-24 helicopter gunships. The video also claims that the Ukrainian unit used a Buk-M1 missile system, which is the same type of weapon that was used to down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in 2014, killing 298 people.

The video has not been independently verified by any external sources, and the Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the claims. However, the video has been widely circulated on social media and has attracted attention from various news outlets, including The Sun, CNN, and Newsweek.
