The war between Russia and Ukraine has entered its second month, with no sign of a peaceful resolution. The conflict has claimed thousands of lives, displaced millions of people, and threatened the stability of Europe and the world. In the midst of this chaos, however, some heroic acts of courage and skill have emerged, showing the resilience and determination of the Ukrainian armed forces.

One such example is the recent strike by the 14th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which managed to destroy three Russian tanks in a coordinated attack. The video of the operation, which has not been verified by The Sun, shows how the Ukrainian forces tracked and targeted the enemy vehicles from a safe distance, using drones and missiles. The footage captures the moment of impact, as the tanks explode in huge fireballs, sending debris and smoke into the air.

According to the Ukrainian military, the strike took place near the town of Avdiivka, in the Donetsk region, where fierce fighting has been raging for weeks. The town is strategically important, as it lies on the road to the regional capital, Donetsk, which is controlled by Russian-backed separatists. The Ukrainian forces have been trying to defend the town from the new Russian invasion, which began on November 23, 2023, after months of escalating tensions and failed diplomatic efforts.

The strike was part of a larger operation by the Ukrainian army, which claimed to have killed dozens of Russian soldiers and destroyed several other military vehicles and equipment. The Ukrainian army also said it had shot down six Russian aircraft, including a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Mi-24 helicopter. The Russian military, however, denied these claims, and accused the Ukrainian side of spreading false information and propaganda.

The Sun has contacted the Ukrainian and Russian authorities for comment, but has not received a response at the time of writing.

The war in Ukraine has sparked a global crisis, as the West and its allies have condemned Russia’s aggression and imposed harsh sanctions on Moscow. The US, the UK, and other NATO members have also sent military aid and advisers to Ukraine, and pledged to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Russia, on the other hand, has accused the West of meddling in its affairs and supporting a “fascist” regime in Kyiv. Russia has also threatened to use nuclear weapons if its “red lines” are crossed, raising the specter of a nuclear war.
