This ongoing saga only serves to underscore how precarious and unpredictable the state of affairs in Russia truly is. The chaotic disarray in the government, and especially in its military forces, suggests that Putin's attempts to control through divide-and-conquer tactics has backfired. In my opinion, this turmoil makes it clearer than ever that Putin's leadership has been less about strategic genius and more about the manipulation of fear and power.

The fact that the Russian military had to sabotage its own infrastructure to halt the Wagner convoy is particularly telling. It's a startling image that paints a clear picture of the internal strife that plagues Russia. The consequences of such actions reach beyond just the military, they echo in the lives of ordinary citizens who bear the brunt of the nation's instability.
